What to expect

people playing music and singing in church

Congregational singing

On Sundays, we come eager to confess our faith and worship the Lord together in song. It’s a time when our pursuit of God through the week culminates in an overflow of praise.

We also believe that our singing is a way to teach and encourage one another (Col. 3:16). So, we choose songs that are easy to understand and sing along to.

Expository preaching

We believe that “faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ” (Rom. 10:17). That’s why the focal point of our Sunday gathering is hearing the Bible preached.

Expository preaching means we make our way through the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter. We start with the text of Scripture and then apply it to our lives.

Corporate prayer

We believe in the power of prayer (James 5:16). And we want to be a church that devotes itself to prayer like the early church did (Acts 2:42).

So, we take time during our gatherings to bring our needs before God, asking Him to awaken our hearts and renew our minds. We also confess our sins together and ask Him to heal us and make us more like Jesus.
